Our Story

How it all started...

Quaker Ave COG began in a small building downtown off of Broadway st. in Lubbock Tx.  In 1971 after various moves the church at 53rd and Quaker was built. We proudly celebrated 100 years of ministry in 2026! That's 100 years of prayers! 100 years of holding the hands of the hurting, feeding the hungry, and preaching the unchanging Word of God. With only 4 Pastors in 60 years, we are an active and growing  church that just feels like home.
